Former Northwestern University star Hank Bruder was a valuable contributor to the Green Bay Packers championships of 1931, ‘36 and ‘39.
The 6’0”, 190-pound Bruder scored the lone touchdown when the Packers beat the Brooklyn Dodgers 7-0 in 1931. Although Bruder was injured much of the 1933 season, he came back strong in 1934. One of his best games as a Packer was in 1934. He scored three touchdowns and kicked four extra points as the Packers beat the Cincinnati Red Legs 41-0.
