Deral ‘The Bulldog’ Teteak was a Green Bay Packers linebacker from 1952 through ‘56. He was a number nine draft choice in 1952.
A member of the 1951 ‘Hard Rocks’ at the University of Wisconsin, Teteak became a hard-nosed Packer linebacker in the 1950s. He often played middle linebacker, despite being just 5’10” and 210 pounds. He intercepted six passes and recovered five fumbles with the Packers. In 1952, he blocked Philadelphia Eagles Adrian Burk’s punt. John Martinkovic recovered and ran it in for a touchdown.
