Jerry Clifford served as the Green Bay Packers attorney from 1922-52. Clifford filed the Articles that created the Green Bay Football Club as a non-profit organization in 1923.
He was instrumental in reorganizing the corporate structure as the Green Bay Packers, Inc. in 1934. Clifford promoted the Packers heavily in northern Wisconsin and Upper Michigan.
In the late 1940′s, when the team was again endangered by insolvency and competition with the All American Football Conference, Clifford helped lead the Packers franchise to solvency.
