Green Bay-area businessman Fred Leicht was a member of the Green Bay Packers Executive Committee from 1925-77.
Leicht is remembered for his early Packers’ publication, Leicht’s Football News. Leicht was a key mover and shaker behind the construction of the original City Stadium, which opened in 1925 and, in the 1950s, he again was a key player in the construction of the new City Stadium (Lambeau Field), which was dedicated in 1957.
