Dr. W. Webber Kelly
Dr. W. Webber Kelly helped the Green Bay Packers franchise survive in the ‘20s and ‘30s. The Packers president in 1929, he served as team physician and executive committee member from 1923-51.
Born in Jamaica, educated in England and schooled in medicine at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, Dr. W. Webber Kelly was a wise choice as one of the prominent citizens Andrew Turnbull invited to support the Packers in 1923.
Kelly served as team physician through the 1949 season. He often treated Packers players free of charge.
