Al Schneider was an avid supporter of the Green Bay Packers. His involvement led to the establishment of the Packers Hall of Fame as well as several civic promotions from the 1950s to the ’70s.
As chair of the Green Bay Chamber of Commerce Sports Committee, he organized such activities as the ‘Welcome Back Packer’ luncheons and Packers rallies. He was a charter member of the Packers Hall of Fame’s Board of Directors.
