1960 Packers Cowboys

March 14, 1960 – Three Packers with over 100 games of combined experience are lost to the Cowboys as part of a draft conducted to stock the roster of the expansion team from Dallas. Packers defensive end Nate Borden (57 games), halfback Bill Butler (11) and running back Don McIlhenny (36) will spend the 1960 season with the Cowboys where they will feel the sting of a 41-7 loss to the Packers in November. The three do little to distinguish themselves in their post-Packers career although Butler will lead the NFL in number of kickoff returns in 1963.
