Packers Hall of Famer Fuzzy Thurston Makes a Citizen’s Arrest
March 13, 1967 – An offensive player by trade, Packers guard Fuzzy Thurston and two of his friends turn defensive in Chicago where they nab a woman attempting to abscond with a briefcase containing the Packers offensive plays. Miss Doloris Robinson, 28, is apprehended by Thurston, Malcom Kennedy and James Gorman after the three come upon the woman removing items from Kennedy’s car. Robinson says a man had given her two dollars to unload “his things” from Kennedy’s car into his car. Robinson is booked on a charge of theft.
