Packers Veterans Attend Training Camp

March 6, 1974 – Quarterback Jerry Tagge is one of about a dozen veterans who will join draft choices and free agents at the Packers early training camp in April. Dan Devine, Packers coach and general manager, announces that the session will be held in Phoenix, Arizona for a third consecutive year. In addition to Tagge, other Packers veterans expected in Phoenix include offensive lineman Larry McCarren, punter Ron Widby and linebacker Tom Toner.
