March 5, 1964 – With the season still six months away, the Packers announce that the team’s three home games at Milwaukee County Stadium have sold out. Even more amazing, the spike in Packers ticket sales occurs without the league schedule having been released. “Our season ticket holders are not greatly concerned what games will be played here,” Col. O.C. Krueger, director of Packers operations in Milwaukee says. “Their main demand is for additional season tickets.”
