Packers Consider Obtaining Former 49er Running Back Roger Craig

March 4, 1991 – Roger Craig, the San Francisco 49ers running back who gained 1,000 yards rushing and 1,000 yards receiving in 1985, undergoes a physical and a short workout at Packers headquarters. “I don’t think it’s surprising to have Roger in here,” Packers President Bob Harlan says. “Considering some of the difficulties we had with running backs last year, I think Lindy (Infante) decided we should take a long look at what is out there.” Instead of joing the Packers, Craig finishes his career as a Raider (1991) and as a Viking (1992-93).
