Several Packers Hall of Famers Shine in 1971 Pro Bowl
Jan. 24, 1971 – Linebacker Fred Carr is voted the outstanding lineman as the National Conference All-Stars beat the American Conference 27-6 in the Pro Bowl. Carr opens at the right linebacker position and is joined in the linbacking corps by the Bears’ Dick Butkus (middle) and the Cardinals’ Larry Stallings (left). Willie Wood starts at left safety, and the two Packers each intercept Daryle Lamonica once as the Raiders quarterback has an off day with just four completions in 21 attempts.
