McHan and Tunnell Re-sign with Packers

July 18, 1960 – Two veteran players who contributed to the success of Vince Lombardi’s first year in Green Bay sign for a second season with the demanding coach. Quarterback Lamar McHan, who led the team with eight TD passes in 1959, and defensive back Emlen Tunnell, who started at safety, come to terms with the club less than a week before training camp opens. Tunnell intercepts three passes and McHan passes for 517 yards in 1960.
