Larry McCarren Gets A New Job
Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame center Larry McCarren is back on TV.
Journal Broadcast Group announced they’re expanding McCarren’s role with the company. In addition to serving as an analyst for Packers radio broadcasts, McCarren will contribute Packers analysis for TODAY’S TMJ4 in Milwaukee, as well as online.
McCarren previously served as sports director for WFRV-TV in Green Bay, a role he occupied since 1988.
“We are very proud to continue our work with Larry McCarren,” said Carl Moll, director of network operations for Journal Broadcast Group. “As a former player, he brings a special kind of insight that is highly focused on the how and why behind the plays of the games and Packers players.”
McCarren played for the Packers for 12 seasons (1973-84). He was a Pro Bowler in 1982 and 1983, and was inducted into the Packers Hall of Fame in 1992.
